Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University conducted Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination 2016


Seat Allotment Procedure of UPSEE 2016 consists of the following Steps:

-The seat allotment is done on the basis of Ranks secured by the candidates in UPSEE 2016, along with the choices filled by them during UPSEE 2016 Counselling Process.

-For seat allotment download and print the UPSEE 2016 Seat Allotment Letter

-Then after for confirming the allotted seats at UPSEE 2016 Participating Institutes, candidate need to report to the verification centre with the allotment letter and a DD (as specified), and get their documents verified.

-Pay the Admission Fee by DD in favour of ‘Finance Officer, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University document verification centre city.

-Candidates of UPSEE 2016 and JEE Main 2016 quotas will be required to confirm only one of the seats and surrender the other one.

-This year, UPSEE Seat Allotment comprises of five phases.

First Round of counselling (main round)

1 Registration, online submission of registration fee and display of seats and online choice filling June 24 to June 29, 2016
2 Document verification June 25 to June 30, 2016
3 Seat allotment result July 3, 2016
4 Confirmation and acceptance of allotted seats July 3,4, 2016


Second round of counselling (Special round)
1 Fresh registration of new eligible candidates (not participated in 1st round), online submission of registration fee and display of seats and online choice filling July 6 to July 7, 2016
2 Document verification for only newly registered candidates July 7 to July 8, 2016
3 Seat allotment result July 11, 2016
4 Confirmation and acceptance of allotted seats July 11 to July 12, 2016


Third round of counselling (Additional special counselling for SC category candidates)
1 Fresh registration of new eligible SC category candidates (not participated in 1st and 2nd rounds), online submission of registration fee and display of seats and online choice filling July 14 to July 15, 2016
2 Document verification for only newly registered candidates July 15 to July 16, 2016
3 Seat allotment result July 19, 2016
4 Confirmation and acceptance of allotted seats July 19 to July 20, 2016

Fourth round of counselling
1 Fresh registration of new eligible candidates (not participated in 1st, 2nd, 3rd rounds), online submission of registration fee and display of seats and online choice filling July 22 to July 24, 2016
2 Document verification for only newly registered candidates July 23 to July 25, 2016
3 Seat allotment result July 28, 2016
4 Confirmation and acceptance of allotted seats July 28 to July 30, 2016
5 Downloading of provisional allotment letter July 28 to July 30
6 Reporting of the candidates at their allotted institutes July 28 to July 30
7 Orientation and commencement of academic session August 1, 2016
Fifth round of counselling for vacant seats
