Common Admission Test CAT is the premier all India management entrance exam conducted by IIMs for management programs.

CAT Exam Eligibility

Graduation degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks for Reserved categories (Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD)/Differently Abled (DA)))

Students in the final year of graduation can also apply

Reserved SC applicants:15%
Reserved ST applicants:7.5%
Reserved OBC applicants:27%
People with disabilities:3%

CAT Exam dates-

Release of Official Notification Between 24-27 July 2016
Online Registration for CAT 2016 Between 06- 26 August 2016
Admit Card Download From October 25, 2016, 01:00 pm till exam day
Test Date November 27, 2016
Result Declaration Mid of January 2017

CAT Exam pattern-

Duration of the Exam Will be three Hours or 180 Minutes

Paper will have mix of MCQ and NON MCQ questions

Each Correct Answer will bring 3 Marks

For wrong answers there is a penalty of -1 marks

The tesr paper will have three papers Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation and Verbal Reasoning

Total Paper Will Contain 100 Questions
