Here I am providing the information regarding the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test exam pattern for an idea . It consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for those who want to become class I-V teachers Paper 2 is for class VI-VIII. Exam pattern for Classes I-V Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks Environmental Science-30 Marks Mathematics-30 Marks Language I-30 Mark Language II- 30 Marks for Classes 6th - 8th Social Studies -60 Marks Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks OR Mathematics & Science- 60 Marks Language-I- 30 Marks Language-II-30 Marks Applicants obtained more than 60% marks will be considered as qualified. Eligibility Criteria : For Primary Level teacher: Students should have obtained a Graduation degree with 50% marks with 2 years diploma in special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP OR 4 year diploma in elementary education. For Upper Primary Level teacher: Students should have obtained a with 50% marks with one year degree in elementary education (B.EL.ED) OR BTC training from UP OR 2 years programme in BTC/CT (Nursery)/ NTT.
