I am interested in the field of Nanotechnology and for that I have decided to join the VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) for pursuing the Nanotechnology course. Provide me the lists of all UG and PG Nanotechnology courses offered by the VIT University?

Dealing with the emerging technology of nano-electronics and nano-photonics that includes the development of nanometric devices and integrated circuits, single electron and quantum dot devices, nanotubes as active devices, superconductors, and interconnecting methodologies for futuristic integrated circuit technologies.

Nano Technology Services

AFM and STM

Atomic Force Microscope can be used for getting 3D topography, Surface roughness, Particle size and distribution, Porosity in nanoscale dimensions.

Charges: Rs 1000 + 12.36 Service Tax per Sample (Maximum 4 Images).

Optical Microscope

Minimum features in the range of 0.3m can be observed. The magnification is 1000 with four objectives (Olympus B61). analySYS is a powerful software that can do the measurement related to the image obtained.

Charges: Rs 400 + 12.35 % Service Tax per sample (Maximum 4 Images).

The sample analysis is done in three sessions in a week between 10 AM to 12 PM by prior appointment. For measurement and analysis of your research samples, please fill in the form and send it to the Coordinator.
