Re: Verbal GRE Practice
The GRE Test (Graduate Record Exam) is the standardised test used to get admissions in various graduate schools or business graduate schools in various English speaking countries, especially the United States. Eligibility: There is no specific eligibility criterion for taking GRE Test. Aspirants can apply for the test irrespective of age and qualification Test Pattern: Computer-based test is the most commonly used GRE test format. However, paper-based format is available at test centres where Computer-based GRE test is not there. The total duration of the test is 3 hours 40 minutes. There are six sections and a 10-minute break is given after the third section during the examination. Syllabus: GRE is available in two formats. They are GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test. The GRE Test Syllabus is different for both the formats. While the GRE General test measures a candidate’s verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skills the GRE Subject Test is focused on judging the candidate’s expertise in specific fields. Here I am suggesting you some books which you can refer for your preparation: -ETS’s Official GRE Verbal Reasoning Practice Questions -ETS’s Official GRE Quantitative Reasoning Practice Questions -Vibrant’s GRE Analytical Writing: Solutions to Real Essay Topics Books -MGRE -The GRE Official Guide -Magoosh ebooks |
