Vidyasagar University was established by an Act of the West Bengal legislature which was notified in the Calcutta Gazette on 24 June 1981. The University is approved by UGC.

B.Ed Counseling

Central Counseling for the session 2015-16 was closed on 17th September.

Last and final phase of Direct Central Counselling was conducted against the vacant seats for admission to B.Ed. Course in affiliated Self Financing B.Ed. Colleges under Vidyasagar University.

Counseling was held at B.C. Mukherjee Hall, Vidyasagar University



A few seats at affiliated B.Ed. Colleges (Self-financing) in various categories remains unalloted after the 1st Counseling process

The 2nd Counseling for these seats was held on 06-07-2015 at 10.30 AM for all Unwilling and Absentee candidates of 1st Counseling.

Selection of the Students was made through counseling by central selection committee for B.Ed. Admission (with enrolment charge of Rs. 3000/-).

Candidates pursuing any other Course of Studies/Job/Full-time Research Work was not allowed to pursue this course simultaneously.
