Organized jointly by the Carlson School and the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the program is structured to accommodate working professionals from throughout Europe and beyond. In addition to geopolitical, technical, social, economic, and environmental challenges, students examine new business methods and tools, strategies for a changing world, and international management. Courses are primarily held in Vienna, Austria. Admissions Admissions criteria include: • Solid career progression • Management and leadership skills • Ability to commit to a challenging program • Interpersonal and communication skills • A clear career vision • Ambition and drive Applicants must meet the following requirements: • Undergraduate degree (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or higher) • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience • Leadership experience • Proficiency in written and spoken English Academics Classes are taught by pre - eminent faculty in the field who hold a strong commitment to teaching and learning. The program is designed for professionals with extensive business and management experience to learn with their peers coming from diverse industries, organizations, and backgrounds. Students are expected to fully engage with the class content and discussions, facilitated by faculty. A key component of the class will be the reading of cases based on real issues facing well-known organizations and leaders. Curriculum The Program is structured to put up working professionals from throughout Europe and beyond, this intensive 14-month program is offered in 4-day modules, once a month. Each module is has a single course, with pre- and post-module assignments. The program incorporates international residencies in Russia, China and India, and the United States (New York City and Minneapolis). The Virtual Team Project begins in the fall and culminates in May during the Global Executive MBA Residency in Minnesota |
