Eligiblity Criteria for Bed is as:
Pre-Service Candidates and In-service candidates should have BA/BSc/BMus (Rabindrasangit) Degree with 3 Year Honours/Major subject with at least 50% marks in Hons/Major subject,
OBC candidates with same Degree should have at least 45% marks, and
S C / S T candidates with same Degree should have pass marks from any recognized University/Institution.
The pre service candidates must have studied any of the following subjects as combination at graduation level, one of which may be Honours/Major subject: Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Hindi etc.
