The admission into B Tech or undergraduate programme in Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (VNIT Nagpur) is made through Joint Entrance Exam (Main). It is chosen by many top ranking students amongst candidates appearing for JEE-Main every year.

Course Structure


Its Chemical Engineering Department offers 4 year undergraduate degree programme (B. Tech) in chemical engineering. One in first two semesters follows a common curriculum irrespective of their branch.

The credit requirement for B. Tech degree programme is 320, which comes from Departmental Core (DC) courses, Departmental Electives (DE), Open Courses (OC), Courses offered by Dept of Humanities (HM).
