The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) Odisha was formed by Orissa Act 9 of 2009 by converting University College of Engineering (UCE), Burla to a non-affiliating Unitary University & came into force by issue of notification by the Industries

Eligibility Criteria

Masters in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in
aggregate (or equivalent CGPA) at B.Tech/M.Tech level from an
Institute/University recognized by AICTE/UGC/Central Government.


Faculty members employed permanent positions of VSSUT, Burla having
M.Tech in relevant discipline from an Institute/University recognized by
AICTE/UGC/Central Government.

Non-Teaching staff members employed on permanent positions of VSSUT,
Burla for a period of at least 08 years out of which 03 years in existing post
and having M.Tech in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in
aggregate (or equivalent CGPA) at B.Tech /M.Tech level from an Institute/
University recognized by AICTE/UGC/Central Government.


Selection Criteria :

(i) Career Marks : 30 Marks
Qualifying Marks for General : 15 Marks (50%)
Qualifying Marks for SC/ST : 12 Marks (40%)
(ii) Written Test : 40 Marks
Out of which 20 nos. of multiple choice questions @1 mark each
and 10 nos. of questions of objective type @ 2 marks each.

Qualifying Total Marks for General : 50 Marks (50%)
Qualifying Total Marks for SC/ST : 40 Marks (40%)
