I want to do engineering and for this decided to give the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) want exam details. Will you tell what eligibility required to apply for this WBJEE exam and also provides WBJEE Engineering Question Paper for doing exam prep?

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) was conducted on 17 May 2016.

The exam is held every year for the intake of the candidates into UG Engineering and Medical courses, in the colleges of West Bengal.

WBJEE Eligibility:

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Applicant must be 17 years old, as on 31 December 2016. There is no provision for the upper age limit.

Applicant must have passed 10+2 from a recognized institution with English, Physics and Mathematics as core subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects as optional subjects.

You must have attained at least 45% marks in qualifying exam (criteria for ST/ SC/ PwD/ OBC is 40%) and should have scored at least 30% marks in English.






Important dates:

The online registration will be started from Last week of December 2016
The online registration will be finished second week of February 2017
All the mandatory documents can be uploaded till third week of February 2017
You can pay the fee till fourth week of February 2017
You can get the confirmation page till last week of March 2017
Admit card will be uploaded on first week of April 2017
Examination’s date (WBJEE 2017) May 2017
Results will be out June 2017
Counselling will start from First week of July 2017
