hello sir I want to know the installation methods of load cell into web tension so please provide me information about the same.

Web tension control refers to the various methods used to measure and adjust tension in a moving web.

Load Cells

The terms load cell is used interchangeably to describe a sensor that accurately measures the tension in a moving web.

Installation of Load Cell

Basic method

1. The operator estimates the web tension by hand and makes manual adjustments to the process.

This approach requires 100% operator intervention.

Better Method


2. Load cells are used to measure tension and the value is displayed on an indicator.

The operator still manually adjusts the tension.

This requires a great deal of operator intervention.

Best Method

3. Load cells are used along with controllers and actuators to automatically measure and adjust web tension.

This approach requires minimum operator intervention.
