Here I am giving you pattern for question paper of West Bengal Police examination below :

WB Police Sub-Inspector Exam consists of three stages:
Prelims 200 marks
Final 200 marks
Personality Test 30 marks

West Bengal SI Prelims Exam Pattern consists of:
General Studies 75 Question, Marks 150
Arithmetic 25 Question, Marks 50
Duration: 1 and 1/2 hour

WB Police SI Final Exam: The final examination consists of the following:
Paper I
General Studies 80 marks
Arithmetic 20 marks
Duration: 2 hours

Paper II English 50 marks 1 Hour
Paper III Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali 50 marks 2 hour

WB SI Exam Syllabus
1. General Studies & Arithmetic
(a) General Studies (Preliminary and Final Examination): Questions will be set to test the General Knowledge of candidates in different spheres.
(b) Arithmetic (Preliminary and Final Examination): Questions will be set on the basis of the syllabus of Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

2. English (Final Examination): Questions may be set on all or any of the following items:
(a) Drafting of a report from the points or material supplied;
(b) Translation from Bengali/Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali, as the case may be to English,
(c) Condensing of a prose passage (summary/precis)
(d) Correct use of words, correction of sentences, use of common phrases, synonyms and antonyms etc.’

3. Bengali / Urdu / Hindi / Nepali (Final Examination): Questions may be set on all or any of the following items:
(a) Drafting of a report from the points or material supplied;
(b) Translation from English to Bengali /Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali, as the case may be,
(c) Condensing of a prose passage (summary/precis).
(d) Grammar.
