West Bengal State University (WBSU) is a public university establishes in 2008. All the 55 colleges in the district of North 24 Parganas, which were formerly affiliated with the University of Calcutta, are affiliated to this university.

Guest House Building (Ground+ 2 Storied building)
Completed with electricity, water, sanitation facilities
All Academic and Administrative activities are presently being operated in this building with Laboratories installed for Science Departments.


Boys' Hostel Building(Ground + 2 Storied Building)
Completed with electricity, water, sanitation facilities 30 inmates are presently using the facility at first floor level of this building.


Girls' Hostel Building (Ground + 2 Storied Building)
Completed with water & sanitation facilities Only internal electrification works are balance.


33 Kv Electrical Sub-Station(Single Storey Building)
Completed with all facilities like installation of Transformers, Switchgear, VCB's & internal electrical connectivity works. The Sub-Station was energized 02/01/2014 by M/s West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. Feeding electrical power to all completed buildings including those under construction/partially completed.


Composite Main Building (Academic + Administrative +Library/ Laboratory Building) Originally planned for Ground+7 stories
Partially completed with electricity, air-conditioning, false ceiling, water, sanitation facilities upto Ground+3rd Floor Roof level
