West Bengal Teachers Eligibility Test WB TET is conducted by West Bengal School Service Commission for selection for teacher post in Government school of West Bengal. WB TET Eligibility Criteria For Primary Teacher (Class I to V): Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks. 2 year Diploma in Education in Special Education/4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) 2 years Diploma in elementary Education are eligible to apply for the primary level post. For Upper Primary Teacher (Class VI to VIII): B.Sc/ B.A or equivalent to this B.Ed/Secondary Education and also pass with it minimum 50% marks 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) 2 year B.Sc B.A/ D.Ed and also pass it with minimum 45% marks Application Fee: Application fees for General and OBC-A/OBC-B candidates: Rs. 250 /- Application fees for reserved (SC/ST/ PH-VH/PH-HI/PH-OH) categories: Rs.80 /-. WB TET Selection Procedure A Person who scores 60% or more in the TET examination will be considered as TET pass. However relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/PH. For Pass graduate teachers:- 40 percent marks obtained in TET out of 150 marks: 60 marks Academic qualification including professional qualification: 30 marks Teaching experience: 5 marks Personality Test: 5 marks For Hons/Post Graduate teachers:- Subject test: 60 marks Academic qualification including professional qualification: 30 marks Experience in teaching:5 marks Personality Test: 5 marks. Negative Marks: There shall be no negative marks for the test.
