Hey!!! Centre for Study of Insurance Operations is Canada’s industry association of property and casualty insurers, brokers and software providers.


It is committed to improving the efficiency and competitive position of the broker distribution channel by overseeing the development, implementation and maintenance of technology standards and solutions such as eDocs, Telematics and eSignatures.

CSIO is currently working on the development of standards in three areas: XML, AL3 (EDI) and forms.

EDI

The CSIO EDI standards are exceptionally stable and widely used across Canada.



CSIOnet

In conjunction with maintaining the EDI standards, CSIO also operates CSIOnet, the industry’s most successful property and casualty EDI network.


Forms

CSIO saves brokers and insurers time and money by creating standardized industry forms that provide a consistent means of documenting insurance policy information.
Without standardized forms, brokers and insurers would have to find ways of combining different proprietary forms.

CSIO industry forms save them this time and effort so that they can concentrate on what’s really important – serving their customers.
