Verbal Reasoning
Measures your ability to analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information obtained from it, analyze relationships among component parts of sentences and recognize relationships among words and concepts.

Quantitative Reasoning
Measures problem-solving ability using basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis.

Analytical Writing
Measures critical thinking and analytical writing skills, specifically your ability to articulate and support complex ideas clearly and effectively.

GRE Exam fee
The registration fee to take the GRE is $195. This is cheaper than the $250 fee that you have to pay for GMAT.

ETS is also willing to be flexible on the GRE test fee for test takers who can prove their financial hardship.

There are extra charges ($50) if you want to change your center or reschedule the test.

The GRE exam fees in Indian currency (Rupees) is INR 12,000.
This is based on an exchange rate of 62 Rupees/Dollar.
