As per your concern I will provide you information of UGC National Eligibility Test, so that you can get idea easily. Application fee General - Rs.600/- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer), as per the Central list of OBC available on website: National Commission for Backward Classes - Rs.300/- SC/ST/PwD - Rs.150/- The candidates may pay the examination fee either by credit/ debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form. In case of e-challan the payment should be made in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank. Exam pattern The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions in two separate sessions. Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. 60(sixty) multiple choice questions of 2 marks each will be given, out of which you would be required to answer any 50(fifty). In the event of the candidate attempting more than 50 questions, the first 50 questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated. Paper-II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by you. Each question will carry 2 marks. Paper-III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by you . Each question will carry 2 marks. All the questions of Paper–II and Paper– III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options). There are no negative marks for incorrect answers. Eligibility Candidates who are willing to appear in UGC NET June 2017 should be well aware of the pre-requisites to take the exam. These eligibility conditions help make sure that the applicant in terms of specific factors such as educational qualification, desirable skills and age etc The candidate who is in the final year of Post-Graduation or have passed his post-graduation with 55% (For General) or 50% (For ST/SC/OBC/PWD) marks from a government recognized institute are eligible to appear for the exam. |
