What Are the Physical Requirements to Join The Navy
I want to join Indian Navy and for this I am planning to give the NDA exam looking for the details about this exam. Will you tell me what the eligibility required to join Indian Navy and also provide me all details related to Physical requirements for joining this Indian Navy?

NDA stands for National Defence Service which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for those who wants to join Indian Navy. Eligibility criteria for NDA exam :- 1] The candidate must be an Indian. 2] The age limit of the candidate must be between 16 to 19 years. 3] The candidate must be unmarried male. 4] The candidate must be passed his 12th class from any recognized board. 5] The candidate must be physically as well as mentally fit. For Indian Army :- The candidate must be passed his 12th class in any stream from any recognized board. For Indian Air Force and Indian Navy :- The candidate must be passed his 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as a compulsory subject from any recognized board. Selection process for NDA exam consists of three stages :- 1] Written exam 2] SSB interview 3] Medical test Written exam consists of two papers :- 1] Mathematics :- 300 marks 2] General Ability :- 600 marks Total marks consists of 900 marks. Physical Requirements: Minimum Height-162.5 cm Sitting Height- Minimum 81.5 cm,Maximum-96.0 cm Leg Length – Minimum-99.0 cm,Maximum-120.0 cm Thigh Length-Maximum-64.0 Please find the below image for other physical requirements to join India Navy: Height & Weight Standard for Men and Women |
