What is TIFR Exam
Please tell what is the date decided by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR ) for UG entrance exam . please give list of the centers of the TIFR entrance exam. Also provide syllabus of the TIFR UG entrance exam.

TIIS (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) conducts a Graduate Programme leading to the award of PhD, Integrated M.Sc., PhD and M.Sc. Degree Programmes in - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer and Systems Sciences (including Communications and Applied Probability) and Science Education. Important Dates for TIFR GS Entrance Exam 2017 Publication of Notification in Employment News: 09th September 2016 Last Date for Application: 10th October 2016 Online Registration link will be made active by 17th October 2016 DDs sent by post/courier will be accepted upto 17th October 2016 Hall Ticket download link will be active from 10th November 2016 GATE Scored based applications to Systems Science (including Communications and Applied Probability): Opens for 03rd February 2017 and Closes 2 weeks after GATE 2017 results are displayed on their website Date of Nationwide Entrance Exam: 11th December 2016 (Sunday) Results of the Nationwide Entrance Exam (shortlist for interviews): 31st January 2017 Eligibility Criteria for TIFR GS Entrance Exam 2017 One in the final year of qualifying degree can also apply Mathematics: For PhD: M.A. / M.Sc. /M. Tech. For I-PhD: B.A./B.Sc./B.E./B. Tech (Students already /completing an M.Sc. degree by July 2017 are not eligible) Physics: For Ph.D.: M.Sc./M.S in Physics, or equivalent, on completion of programmes of duration minimum 5 years in total For I-Ph. D.: M.E/M. Tech/B. Sc/B. S./B.E/B. Tech/B. Chem. in Physics, Engineering Physics, or equivalent degree, on completion of programmes of duration minimum 3 years in total Any other degree in Science/Engineering/Medicine, or equivalent, on completion of programmes of duration minimum 3 years in total In addition I-PhD candidates with 4 or more years of university education who clear the written test may be considered by TCIS for their PhD programme Chemistry: For PhD: M.Sc./M. Pharm For PhD: B.Sc./B.E/B. Tech/B. Pharm One with B.E./B. Tech degrees can optionally get an M.Sc. degree by fulfilling necessary requirements Biology: For PhD: Masters in Basic Science or Bachelors in Applied Science; these include, M.Sc (Ag.), B. Tech, B.E., B. V. Sc., B. Pharma (4 years course), MBBS, BDS, M.Pharma; candidates will be short-listed for interview based on written test marks, CV and Scientific Write up For I-PhD/M. Sc.: Bachelors in any Basic Science For M.Sc. Wildlife Biology & Conservation: Indian nationals who have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (with a minimum of 50% in core subjects), less than 35 years of age as on 01st July 2016 and a strong interest in wildlife research and conservation; graduate nationals of Central, South and Southeast Asian countries, with similar qualifications, are also eligible to apply Computer & System Sciences (including Communications and Applied Probability): For PhD: B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M. Tech/MCA/M. Sc degree holders in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Electronics & Communications Engineering/ Electrical Engineering Exceptionally well qualified students with B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M. Tech/M. Sc/B. Sc or equivalent degrees in other disciplines may also be considered One not holding a Master's degree and admitted to a PhD/Int.
