Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test BITSAT 2016 were conducted from May 14 to May 28, 2016 by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) for admissions to various Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering in the university.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria:

12th examination from a recognized central or state board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

Also, they must have adequate proficiency in English.

They should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects
Candidates must secure at least 60% marks in each of these subjects individually.

BITSAT Exam Pattern:

BITSAT is being conducted with 3 hour exam duration

The exam is of objective-type and is divided in 4 parts - Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV.

There are total of 150 questions

Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while for every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted (-1).

For unattempted question, no mark (zero) will be awarded.
