CMJ University or CMJU is a private university located in Shillong, Meghalaya, India which is created through a state act in 2009. It is the first private university established in Meghalaya.

Its mission is to foster creativity in teaching, learning and research to build a knowledge base and promote quality initiative. Provide access to education to all. Develop human resources to meet the societal needs

Its vision is to strive to become an International Center of Excellence in teaching and research to provide high quality value-based education to all through various modes.

It is situated on a 40 acre Campus on a scenic hillock in Jorabat on the Guwahati-Shillong Highway with spectacular 360 degree views of the picturesque hills.

It has a built up area of more than 1, 50,000 sq ft with furnished modern classrooms, fully quipped laboratories, well stocked library with broadband connectivity and well qualified faculty.
