I would say don’t wait for the right time, start your preparation the moment you have made your mind to pursue MBA (Master in Business Administration) through CAT (Common Admission Test).

As the more time you give in for practice the better it is for the examination, and hence there is a very good chance to get a positive result.

Tips to prepare for the exam:

It is not easy to crack so one should make a proper schedule and follow it everyday strictly.

Study at least 6 to 8 hours in a day.

Prepare for verbal exam which mainly includes synonyms ,antonyms ,comprehension paragraph and some words whose meaning which you should remember .You can learn all these things if you will learn 5 words every day .

Make notes of the words which you think are important. This will help you to quickly revise them before the exam.

Solve previous year question papers this will give you advantages over other students

During exams do not attempt hard question first. Everyone know there strong area and weak area so you should first attempt the strong area.

Read newspaper everyday is a great way to enhance vocabulary. People who read newspapers regularly certainly fare better than their peers in Reading comprehension, Para Jumbles and Cloze test.

Revise the syllabus and by this time you will be aware of your strong and weak points.
