North Bengal University is located in Raja Rammohunpur, Darjeeling, and West Bengal. The university was established in 1962 by Act of the Legislature of West Bengal. The campus occupies an area of about 330 acres 9 km outside Siliguri and Bagdogra Airport in the Terai region of Darjeeling district.
