Hii sir, I Wants to get the Admission Into the Central University of Jammu I Wants to know Is It Necessary to give the CUCET Exam for Admission Into the Central University of Jammu ?

Central University of Jammu in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India has been established through an Act of Parliament: “The Central Universities Act, 2009" by Govt. of India. It started functioning from 2011.


Yes, for getting Admission Into the Central University of Jammu you may have to give the CUCET Entrance Exam the Details of the CUCET Exam is given below

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an all-India test is being organized by eight Central Universities together, for admission to about 250 Integrated / undergraduate, Post-graduate and Research Programmes in these Universities.

Examination Pattern :

No. of Questions: The question paper will be consisted of 100 MCQs (multiple choice questions).
PART A will be consisted of 25 questions.
PART B will be contained 75 MCQs questions and consisted of five sections.
Each section will have 25 questions.

There is a provision that a candidate will require to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions).

For Integrated Courses/MBA/MCA/LLB/LLM or any other general course(s), only one paper will be conducted which will contain 100 objective types questions.

Language: The language of the question paper will be in English.

Duration: The duration of each paper will be two hours.

Negative Marking: There will be NO negative marking.

Dates of the CUCET Exam

Online Application Form First week of April 2017
Last Date of Online Submission First week of May 2017
Last date to accept the fee through Challan in SBI First week of May 2017
Admit Card Availability Date Third week of May 2017
Date of Entrance Exam First week of June 2017
Result Announced Third week of June 2017
