About the Career :

R D) Sharma, who is the Professor in Department of Commerce in Jammu University, had recently joined back his parent organization after completing a successful tenure of two years as Chairman of Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE). Earlier,


he had also served on various administrative and academic positions in JU, such as Dean Academic Affairs, Rector Kathua Campus, Controller of Examinations, Dean Faculty of Business Studies, Dean Faculty of Commerce, HoD Commerce, Dean Students Welfare, Director Physical Education, Coordinator SAP, etc.

He was visiting Fulbright Professor of Business Administration, URI, Kingston (USA).


Achievements :

He has to his credit 12 books and 116 papers. His research work has figured in leading refereed journals of national and international repute.

He has guided 26 M. Phil and 24 Ph D students. He has completed seven research projects and visited many countries.

He is the member of University Syndicate and has also been a member of University Council.
