William Carey University dedicated its Tradition Campus located at the intersection of Mississippi 67 and Hwy 605 on August 19, 2009.

It is located in Central Harrison County, north of Biloxi and Gulfport.

The 30--acre campus houses administrative, faculty, and registrar offices; an open air student lounge; bookstore; library and computer lab

. It features state-of-the-art nursing school facilities with lecture, lab, exam, psychiatric study, exam, and treatment rooms. Over 30 general classrooms and science labs are included.

There is also a gatehouse and maintenance building. The $14 million Phase I project has 58,559 square feet.


The WCU-Tradition Campus was a 2009 Merit Award Winner in the institutional category by the Mississippi Associated Builders and Contractors.

Additional phases are planned which may accommodate up to 3,000 students.
