The Literacy Component: EDR 308, EDR 311, EDR 344, EDR 407, EDR 441, EDR 474 (18 hours) - lesson design and accommodations for struggling readers;
The Pedagogy Content EDU 345, EDU 346, EDR 407, EDU 413, EDU 440 (9 hours) - lesson design in content areas: Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Communications (Language Arts);
The Diagnosis Component: EDU 413 and EDR 441 (6 hours) - diagnosis of student performance, case study, and development of intervention lessons to promote positive student growth.
The Special Education Component (18 hours) - lesson design, IEP identification, diagnosis, and assessment/intervention, characteristics of students with special needs.
