The essay section is always the sixth and final section of the LSAT exam. You’ll be given 35 minutes to respond to a specific prompt What does it test? Your ability to formulate a reasoned, persuasive argument Your ability to compose an organized, coherent essay Your facility with the English language and the conventions of standard written English How should write essay? 1. Compile information in grid form 2. Decide on a “more important” consideration 3. Make your choice 4. Write the essay Paragraph 1: A. Summarize the decision to be made. B. Acknowledge the complexity of the decision. C. State your opinion. Paragraph 2: A. State why the primary consideration (the one you chose to be the Paragraph 3: State how your choice still does an okay job with the secondary consideration Paragraph 4: Summarize your argument 5.
