Hi I want to get admission in the Nursing course of the AFMC so can you please tell me the eligibility to apply and the way of admission so I can have an idea?? Well at present the admission for the Nursing course of the AFMC is not going on but below I have given you some details so you can have a look Deadlines for the Admission Program will start in the month of Aug. Advertisements for recruitment appear in the leading news papers of the country in the month of Oct/ Dec every year, both for B Sc & GNM courses. You are required to submit their application forms in the prescribed format, along with other necessary documents mentioned therein. Qualification To Apply You must be an Indian National (age- 17 to 25 yrs) Must have completed 10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery with minimum two years experience in the profession. Male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme must submit a Certificate of completion of a course of 6- 9 months duration approved You should have not less than 50% aggregate marks in all subjects. The candidate should have passed the examination in single attempt. (OR) 10 class (Matriculation or its equivalent with three years Diploma in General. Nursing Midwifery with a minimum of five years experience in the profession. Way Of Admission You shall be selected on the merit of the at an All India level. A written objective type of examination will be conducted in February/ March every year, at certain selected centres Successful candidates will be called for an interview at selected centres in the month of April/May each year . Applicants must be declared medically fit. The fitness will be determined by a Medical Board of Military Medical Officers.
