Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya, is a public university exclusively dedicated to the study and research of folklore.

It was established in 2011 at Shiggaon district by the Government of Karnataka.

The Karnataka Folklore University is engaged in providing a wide range of PG courses, certificate and diploma courses.

Admissions:

For PG Courses:

The university conducts an entrance examination so as to provide enrollment in the offered postgraduate courses.

The university will then publish the merit list which comprises the list of the qualified candidates. Enrollment in the offered courses will be made through the student’s performance in the entrance test.
