Can you please tell me the reviews and the ranking of West Bengal University of Technology WBUT?

West Bengal University of Technology WBUT is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The University was declared as the "Centre of Excellence in Environmental Technology and Management" by DST-DBT, Government of India in 2014 for the extraordinary contribution from the School of Biological Sciences and School of Natural Sciences under the university.

In 2012 a survey by Dataquest listed the university, specifically the "School of Engineering & Technology/School of IT- WBUT", in the top 25. It was number 22 in 2013.

The placement cell of West Bengal University of Technology has been ranked as one in the top 12 tech schools in the eastern region of India by Infosys Ltd.

The School of Engineering and Technology received seed support from IBM in setting up the IBM Centre of Excellence on the campus.

WBUT provides facilities for the pursuit of degree and advanced-level courses in engineering, management and other professional areas through affiliated institutions[1] and in-house departments.
