The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar owes its origin to a Social Contract between the Government of Orissa and the OJS.

The Management of the institute is in the hands of a Governing Board, consisting of representatives from the Jesuit Society, Government of India, Government of Orissa and eminent industrialists and educationists.

MBA fees detail:

The academic fees for the first-year of this premium program would be only Rs.7,00,000. An additional Rs.1,00,000 towards one-time Development Fee has to be paid along with it by each student at the time of joining the program.

MBA fees:

MBA-BM and MBA-HRM will be Rupees fourteen lakhs (Rs.14,00,000), payable in two annual installments: Rs. 6,50,000/- in the first year and Rs. 7,50,000/- in the second year.

MBA-RM and MBA-SM will be Rupees ten lakhs (Rs. 10,00,000), payable in two annual installments:
Rs. 5,00,000/- in the first year and Rs.5,00,000/- in the second year.

Executive MBA-BM will be Rupees fourteen lakhs (Rs.14,00,000), payable in
three installments: Rs. 7,00,000/- in the first, and Rs.3,50,000/- each in the second and third installment.

Executive MBA (Part-Time) will be Rupees fourteen lakhs (Rs.14,00,000): Rs. 7,00,000/- each in the first year and in the second year. Residential expenses will be additional.

Executive MBA-RM will be Rupees seven lakhs (Rs.7,00,000), payable in three installments: Rs. 4,00,000/- in the first, and Rs.1,50,000/- each in the second and third installment. Residential expenses will be additional.
