Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) is an institute of national repute in India, situated in Bhubaneswar which is the capital of the eastern Indian state of Odisha.

It is governed by the Government of India, the Government of Odisha and the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).

The school was established in 1987 under what the parties called a 'social contract' between the Government of Odisha and the Jesuits in Odisha.

The total number of seats in MBA-BM is 360.

Seat Reservation:

For the 2016-2018 batch , the plan is to take up to 20 domiciles and up to 20 non-domiciles.

Within each category, 5 seats shall be reserved for fresh graduates and post-graduates, 2 for non-resident-Indians, and 10 for those with work-experience of as a minimum three years.

The outstanding 3 shall be open to all and be filled according to merit.

If sufficient quality applicants are not available in one of the three sub-categories, the vacant seats would be added to the 3 general seats under that category and be open to all in that category according to merit.

If enough quality applicants are not found in one category, seats would remain vacant.

Here is Admission Process:

Only if a candidate’s Career-Score exceeds a provided benchmark would s/he be called to appear for an Interview.

Those found satisfactory - after the Interview, which would carry 10% weight - would be offered provisional admission, conditional upon satisfying all eligibility requirements and furnishing all necessary documents and fees.

Interviews would be held in and approximately March.
