Can you tell me about the fee structure for MBA or Master in Business Administration Program as offered by Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS)?

The Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) was established as an extension department of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, in 1955 for training youngsters in Rural Development, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.

In 1973 it was registered as a separate educational society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. In 1978, it moved to its present site and over the years has developed its own distinct identity as a centre of excellence in management education, research, and consultancy and development interventions.

XISS MBA Fee Structure

Course Fees:
Tuition Fees for the year 2015-17
Rs. 5,59,100/-

Hostel Fees – Boys:
XISS has a 120 seater boys hostel located at Bariatu, Ranchi.
The fees for the boys hostel (3 seater room) is Rs. 6,000/- per month.
This is inclusive of the Boarding and Lodging charges, Food charges, Wi-Fi Internet charges and Conveyance charges.
Charges of double seater and single seater rooms are proportionately higher and the double and single seater room allotment is subject to availability.

Hostel Fees – Girls:
XISS has a 150 seater girls hostel located nearby the institute.
The fees of a four seater room is Rs. 1000/- per month.
This includes only Boarding and Lodging charges and Wi-Fi Internet charges.
Food charges are separate and the food is supplied from the XISS canteen.
The charges for the same are approximately Rs. 1,800/- per month.

Other Costs & Charges:
Besides hostels, many students prefer to stay in lodges in and around the vicinity of XISS.
Fees and charges of these lodges are independently determined by the lodge owners.
XISS does not endorse any of the lodges. Besides the course fees and hostel fees (optional) students will have to bear their daily traveling and living expenses and cost related to class projects etc.
