I would like to tell you that XLR8 is the the First Technical Competition held by Robotics Club in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay here I will get details.

Prize
First: Techuila (H4) got prize of worth Rs 3000

Second: Epsilon Delta (H3) and Stallions (H2) each got prize of Rs 1500

PG Winner: The Invincibles (Tansa) got prize of Rs 500
Also prize of Rs 500 were given to top scorer in each hostel other than these winners

Task:
To build a manually controlled bot capable of negotiating different kinds of obstacles in its path in stipulated amount of time.

Teams:
Maximum number of members allowed per team is 4.
Only freshmen entries will be considered for prizes.
Online registration can be done at : www.stab-iitb.org
Teams must register before 18th August, 11:59PM.
We hold no responsibility to allot time slots to non-registered and un-registered teams.

Bot Specifications:

The entire bot must fit in a box of size 25cm x 25cm x 25cm at all points of time during the run, failing which your bot will be disqualified. This does not include the remote control and external power supply (if any).

If the power supply is onboard, then that too must fit into the above mentioned box along with the other parts of the bot at all of time during the run.

There are no weight-restrictions on the bot.

The bot can be wired or wireless. Power supply can be external or on-board.

Voltage between any two points on the bot should not exceed 12 V at any point during the run.

No readymade steering mechanisms are allowed. Readymade Gears and shafts however may be used.

Lego Kits are not allowed.
