United Bank of India (UBI) is an Indian government-owned financial services company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

The bank was established in 1950.

UBI was the result of the merger of four Bengali banks: Comilla Banking Corporation, Bengal Central Bank, Comilla Union Bank and Hooghly Bank.

On 19 July 1969 the Government of India nationalized UBI.
