Yes Bank Udaan program

UDAAN is an ambitious Five Year Project launched in 2013 by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Its aims to provide training and employment opportunities to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir in partnership with the Corporate Sector

YES BANK, launched the 2nd Edition of YES UDAAN on July 2, 2014.

Building upon the success of the 1st edition, YES BANK received an overwhelming response from the youth of Jammu & Kashmir, receiving over 650 applications for Traineeship under YES UDAAN Program.

As a part of YES BANK’s Responsible Banking commitment towards Skill development, Capacity and enhancing Employability, the Bank has partnered in this initiative.

40 trainees have been selected to undergo a rigorous three-month customized “Certification in Banking Fundamentals” program anchored by YES School of Banking (YSB), the Learning & Development unit of YES BANK.

The Orientation Program was inaugurated by Mr. Atul Bhatnagar, COO of NSDC.

Their aim to foster young leadership by offering them challenging opportunities

The Bank plans to employ all students who successfully complete this Certification program and final selection interview in its Branch Banking vertical.

Trainees from last year’s UDAAN program have successfully taken up positions of responsibility within the Bank.
