Sivananda yoga t the city of the Gurgaon was set up primarily to spread the teaching and practice of an authentic and ancient system of yoga to the citizens of the city, thereby promoting health, well being, a stress-free lifestyle and a more balanced and visionary individual.

Even as daily life gets more and more complex and demanding, yoga is once again showing the way to the people to live the life in the healthy way.

The class timings at the institute are as follows-

Tues, Thurs - 6.30 - 7.30 am

Mon, Wed, Fri - 7.30 - 8.30 am

Mon, Wed, Fri - 10.00 - 11.30 am

Tue, Thurs - 5.00 - 6.00 pm

Mon, Wed, Fri - 7.00 - 8.00 pm

Sat & Sun – 8.00 - 9.30 am

Here are the details of the Beginners Course –

The beginner’s programme at the institute is meant to induct members into a long journey to wellness, good health and peace of mind through the correct understanding and practice of yoga by the trained teachers of the institute.

In the course at the institute, you will have an overview of Swami Vishnudevananda’s five points of yoga – proper exercise, proper breathing, proper relaxation, proper diet and positive thinking and meditation.

At the courses you will go through a training on how to breathe properly, how to exercise, and how to relax.

You will also understand the importance and techniques of Asanas and Pranayamas, and the proper method of doing the surya namaskar by enrolling at the courses at the institute.
