The flexibility of Schulich School of Business - York University Full-Time MBA study options allows completing it in either 16 or 20 months. If one has an undergraduate business degree and work experience, may also qualify for 8 month Accelerated MBA. Application Deadlines Its studies start in September and January. The application deadlines for Schulich’s full-time MBA program are as follows: Fall (September): – Canada and U.S. application deadline: January 7 (early deadline); April 30; late applications accepted pending space – International application deadline: January 7 (early deadline); February 28; late applications accepted pending space and sufficient lead time to secure visa Winter (January) – Canada and U.S. application deadline: September 1 (early deadline); October 1 (final deadline) – International application deadline: September 1 (early deadline); October 1 (final deadline) Class Profile Schulich’s 2014 MBA class was approximately 64% male and 36% female; about half were international students. The average student age was 29 years old, and they entered the program with five years’ professional experience. The average GMAT range was 550-760; while the average GPA was between 3.3 and 4.0. Admissions Procedures One must hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized university with at least a B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work. An official GMAT score is required; a competitive score based on successful candidates is around 660, and should have a balanced score across 4 measures of the exam. 2 years of relevant full-time work experience post degree or life experience. To apply, you must complete and submit the online application, along with a non-refundable application fee of $150.00 US. Also required are submit written and video essays, resume, two letters of recommendation and official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. Non-native English speakers are required to submit TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic or YELT scores. Tuition & Financial Aid The full-time MBA is completed in four academic terms; tuition is charged per term. For Canadian (“domestic”) students, tuition per term in 2015-16 is $16,814.62. For international students, $21,251.22 Both require $442.56 in supplemental fees (subject to change). |
