The Abdulla Hall of Aligarh Muslim University is a separate hall for girls. The hall is name after Sheikh Abdulla, the founder of women’s college in Aligarh Muslim University.

He was born on June 21, 1874 and in November 1906 he started a girl’s school with 5 girls only.

The initial strength of the hall was 57 that increase to 1303 with a gradual increase in the number of hostels. There are eight hostels now.

Facilities available in the hall

1. There is a Water Cooler in each hostel according to the strength and Water Purifier in each hostel.

2. There is a Desert Cooler in Common Room and Reading Room of each hostel.

3. There is a One Ceiling Fan in each room of the hostels.

4. There is a Generator Connection in Reading Room of the Hall, & Kitchen Block.

5. There are Bulbs & Tube light in corridors and in the Toilets of every hostel.

6. There provide a Common Pluck Point for the use of Heater in every hostel according to the strength.

7. Building Light provided in each hostel.

8. There provides L.C.D, T.V in 6 hostels & Old model T.V in 2 hostels and with DTH in each hostel.
