On 6 February 2010 ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (enrolled with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 33002587) changed its lawful name to The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V.

From 6 February 2010 onwards, the name ABN AMRO Bank N.V. will be utilized by a different legitimate substance (enlisted with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 34334259), which will later be possessed by the State of the Netherlands. Neither the new element named ABN AMRO Bank N.V. nor the State of the Netherlands ensures the commitments under securities issued by The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V. unless generally explicitly expressed in the terms and states of such securities. So also, The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V does not ensure the commitments under securities issued by the new element named ABN AMRO Bank N.V unless generally explicitly expressed in the terms and states of such securities.
