The Associate Banks Officers' Association (ABOA) was established at a serious capacity at the Head Office of the State Bank of Hyderabad on the 26th of November 1967. Enrolled as a Unitary Organization however, ABOA, in every way that really matters, is a Federation of the five units of the Associate Banks of the State Bank of India, every working practically autonomous of each other.
