GRE stands for Graduate Record Exam It is the standardised test used to get admissions in various graduate schools or business graduate schools especially the United States. Eligibility: There is no specific eligibility criterion for taking GRE Test. Aspirants can apply for the test irrespective of age and qualification. GRE test pattern: It is the Computer-based test However, paper-based format is available at test centres where Computer-based GRE test is not there. The total duration of the test is 3 hours 40 minutes. There are six sections and a 10-minute break is given after the third section during the examination. Syllabus: GRE is available in two formats. They are GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test. GRE General Test measures a candidate’s Verbal reasoning, Quantitative reasoning, Critical thinking and Analytical writing skills The GRE Subject Test is focused on judging the candidate’s expertise in specific fields. Validity of GRE: GRE scores are valid for 5 years. One can request a rescore up to 3 months after your test date. |
