The International Bank Account Number (IBAN) has been has been initiate to standardize the identification of bank account numbers in the UAE.

It’s main purpose is to facilitate automatic processing of money transfers and to get better the speed and correctness of your payment transactions.

IBAN will be used for all innermost and Outward allowances to and from the UAE and for salary payments through Wages Protection Systems (WPS)
