The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India.

It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture. The Union Minister of Agriculture serves as its president

The ICAR is going to conduct All India Entrance Examination for Admission to undergraduate degree Programmes.

The courses Crop Science, Horticultural Science, Natural Resource Management, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries Science, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Extension, Knowledge Management, Administration, Finance and Animal science.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification:

-For UG courses the candidates are required to pass out the 12th Class and should have one of the PCM / PCB / PCMB as compulsory subjects.

-For PG courses aspirants are required to have a graduation degree in Agriculture, Veterinary , Forestry, Agri. Marketing and Cooperation, Food Science, Biotechnology, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, agriculture.

Age Limit:-

-Age limitation For UG Courses: -
The aspirant should be between 18 to 23 year old.

-Age limitation for PG Courses: -
The age of aspirant should not be less than 19 year.
