Re: Study Material for B.El.Ed Entrance Exam
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) programme offered by University of Delhi is a four-year integrated professional degree programme of Elementary Teacher Education offered after class XII stage of school. This is a bilingual programme, conceptualized by the Maulana Azad Centre for Elementary and Social Education (MACESE) of the Department of Education, University of Delhi. The program is designed to integrate the study of subject knowledge, human development, and pedagogical knowledge and communication skills. Both professional and academic options are available to the students who graduate with a B.El.Ed degree. Eligibility: One must have passed the higher secondary exam (XII class) of the C.B.S.E ( Central Board of Secondary exam) or any other board exam recognised as equivalent to C.B.S.E with 50 % in aggregate with minimum 50 % marks in each of the following 4 subjects. The reservation and relaxation in the marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and any other categories (if any) is as per the rules of the University of Delhi. Selection Procedure Selection is based on an online written entrance test. The entrance test is of 2 hour duration. The question paper is of multiple choice question (MCQ) format. It consists of 100 questions. Each question carries 4 marks, so the maximum marks would be 400. For each correct answer 4 marks would be awarded. There is negative marking. For each wrong answer 1 mark would be deducted. There are four options for every question i.e. a, b, c, d. Numbering of questions is from 1 to 100. There is no descriptive question. The question paper is bilingual (English and Hindi). Admissions will be done on the basis of the Scheme of the CEE. The Merit List will be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in the Entrance Test. Separate merit lists will be prepared for the respective categories i.e. general category and reserved categories as per the norms of the University of Delhi. |
