Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, once in the past Uttar Pradesh Technical University, is an open university college in Lucknow in the Indian province of Uttar Pradesh. It was built up as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University through the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8 May 2000.

It is an affiliating college, with around 800 schools partnered to it. The college was before on the IET Lucknow grounds. Presently it is arranged in its recently initiated grounds in Jankipuram, Lucknow. Moreover, the college had a Center and Regional Office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, which was held by Mahamaya Technical University.

On 18 September 2015, the college was authoritatively renamed as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

Courses Offered

The university offers undergraduate classes in engineering, architecture, hotel management and catering technology, fashion and apparel design, and pharmacy, prompting degrees of B.Tech, B.Arch, BHMCT, BFAD, and B.Pharma individually. The college offers postgraduate courses in PC applications and business organization prompting degrees of MCA, MBA and MBA (Rural Development).
