Re: AFCAT Exam How Many Times in a Year

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exam conducted by Indian Air Force once in a year .

There is no limit on the number of attempts one can make.

Eligibility criteria :


Flying Branch:
19-23 years,

Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (Indian) is relaxable up to 25 years.

Technical Branch:
23-26 years

Ground Duty Branches:
For Graduate: 20 to 23 years

For Post Graduate/LLB (Five years integrated course):
20 to 25

For LLB (Three years course after Graduation):
20 to 26 years

For M.Ed/Ph.D/CA/ICWA:
20 to 27 years.

Educational Qualifications:

Flying Branch:

Graduates (minimum 3 years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university.

Attained minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate.

Technical Branch:

BE/ B.Tech degree with minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate.

Ground Duty Branch:

Administration and Logistics:
Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

Accounts:
Graduate Degree in Commerce (B.Com) (Minimum three year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate .
or
Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com) /CA/ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together

Education:
Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Height and Weight:
Minimum height –
157.5 Cms with correlated weight
