IAF Airman Non-Tech Trades Exam is conducted twice in a year on National level to admit young candidates in IAF as non-technical trade Airmen.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent with Science and Mathematics as main subjects with 45% or above marks in aggregate.

Age Limit:
Candidate should be between 16 years to 19 years.

Nationality:
A candidate must either be:
a citizen of India, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Marital Status:
Unmarried Indian citizens are eligible.

Physical Standard:
Minimum Height: 152.5 cm.
Chest Expanded chest measurement should not be less than 75 cm with minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.
Weight: Corresponding to height and age.
Vision : At least 6/ 12 in each eye without glasses or 6/6 in better eye and 6/36 in the worse eye without glasses, correctible to 6/6 in each eye with glasses.
Normal hearing.
General Health: Free from all communicable diseases and cardiovascular, medical or surgical deformities or infection.
